My heart is fuzzy with the thought of these letters. I am engaged to a Navy man stationed in San Diego right now. I am in NJ and the distance is very hard on us, as I am sure it was for your parents. While my fiance was in basic, I wrote nearly everyday..as did he. We both saved all of our letters. He was recently home before he left for San Diego and he gave me all of the letters to hold on to, in a safe place. I only hope that in the future my children and grandchildren will find them half as romantic as these letters.
